The Fender American Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s Telecaster Custom tees it up with a host of fine materials and specifications for a knockout musical experience. This guitar's premium alder body takes up the iconic Telecaster singlecut shape while being fitted with sleek carved contours. Designed to inspire the inspire best in comfort, these contours work alongside the body's new aged Heirloom lacquer finish. The finish at hand, relatively unseen before in Fender models, makes a splash in the American Ultra Luxe Vintage series with just the right amount of age and wear to match the guitar's timeless design.
Moving from here, this American Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s features a quartersawn maple neck with a Modern D profile and a satin lacquer finish. This neck, made for speed and comfort, fills the hand comfortably alongside Fender's Ultra rolled fingerboard edges. The American Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s Telecaster plays seamlessly with twenty-two stainless steel Medium Jumbo-sized frets. This guitar's rosewood fingerboard, designed with a compound radius measuring at ten inches to a speedy fourteen, places playability as a priority.
On this American Ultra Luxe Vintage model, Fender treats us to a special set of electronics. At the heart of this model are two Fender Pure Vintage '63 Single-Coil Tele pickups that summon all the classic snap and twang you've come to know from Telecasters. Embodying a timeless Tele tone, an onboard S-1 switch built into the Volume control activates the guitar's series wiring mode that expands the sonic palette of the guitar even further.
The American Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s Telecaster Custom tops everything off with a number of fine hardware specifications. At one of end of the scale, the headstock's TUSQ nut and sealed locking tuning machines align to ground strings stably. At the other end, the American Tele six-saddle bridge features chromed brass saddles to match. This American Ultra Luxe Vintage model comes with an included Fender Deluxe hardshell case for traveling with safety and security.
