But fate was kind to him, because the little boy was found by Aphrodite herself, who took him in and entrusted him to the care of Persephone. Adonis grew up surrounded by the love of both goddesses into a remarkable beauty, and with increasing age conquered their hearts as well. Each of them wanted to keep the extremely beautiful Adonis for herself. The dispute was finally resolved by Zeus, who ordered Adonis to spend a third of the year with Aphrodite, a third with Persephone, and a third with the one he chooses. However, his heart belonged to Aphrodite, so he chose her. They were inseparable - that is, until he went hunting. One day, despite her warnings, he went deep into the forest, where the jealous Ares - the god of war and Aphrodite's lover - was waiting for him. He sent a wild boar to kill poor Adonis. As he died in Aphrodite's arms, she wept so piteously that a red rose grew where her tears fell. And in the pool of Adonis's blood, the flower of the anemone and the pomegranate sprouted again. The pomegranate held by Aphrodite represents loss as well as the fruits of her love. While an anemone surrounds her grief and poignantly reminds her of what she has lost. And so the tusks of the wild boar that caused Adonis' fall are depicted around the plate, as well as a testimony to the beauty that can only be found in the depths of tragic loss. Genuine leather upper and well made
Size: 10, Color: Sunlight
These shoes are well made and I love the way they look. They look great with jeans or dresses. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the brand. These are a size 10 and fit. Hopefully after a breaking in period the opening at the toes will loosen up. Also, when walking they make a slap slap sound. Again, hoping after they break in that won't be the case. I got a great deal and poof a couple of days later there was a slightly better deal.
I wasn't sure I'd like the color but it's actually really nice. The upper is genuine leather and they are well made.

Beautiful shoe

This shoe is fairly narrow, which works fine for my narrow feet. Comfortable. Light. Nice color will match with lots of colors. Fairly comfortable but the skinny part by the toe I see how this would give anyone with a medium side foot blisters. It’s fine on me.

This shoe is super cute and comfy. I usually wear an 8 or an 8½. I ordered the 8½, but it was too small, so I had to send it back. I reordered a 9, and it fit perfectly.
