The Super Ercole Aero Pot is designed to promote healthier plant growth by preventing root spiralling and encouraging proper root development. The pot is made from heavy-duty, polyethylene plastic and features raised legs, with many drainage holes and slits concentrated in the bottom third of the pot, including the legs. This combination of raised legs and slits allows for optimal drainage and air movement to and from the root system. As the roots encounter air, the tips die back which causes further root branching behind the ‘air-pruned’ tips. This process prevents roots circling the pot and the plant becoming ‘root bound’, as well as denser root growth, with more root tip growth points leading to faster overall growth and the development of a healthy, vigorous plant. This aesthetically pleasing container is sold in bundles of 5 or 10 pots.
