Many professionals work as many as 70 hours a week, leaving little time for rest, exercise, family, and friends. Work is invading their personal life. The common understanding of productivity has failed these professionals.

Most think productivity is just about getting more done at a faster speed. But it's not. Productivity is about getting the right things done.

New York Times best-selling author Michael Hyatt has created a total productivity system that's much more than endless box checking. Proven by more than 25,000 professionals, this system helps overwhelmed leaders achieve what matters most so they can succeed at both work and life.

In his latest audiobook, Free to Focus, you'll discover how to:

  • Redefine your work so it works for you
  • Filter your tasks and commitments
  • Cut out the nonessentials
  • Eliminate interruptions and distractions
  • Set boundaries that protect your focus and drive results
  • Leverage your time and energy for maximum productivity
  • Build momentum for a lifetime of success

In Free to Focus, you'll learn the three-step system to achieve more while doing less.

REVIEWS:

No matter how hard I tried to get back, I was getting no closer to the beach. Those gigantic waves I loved were pounding me, especially when I finally gave up on my male ego and raised my hands so the lifeguards would see, and save, me.

But they didn't see, or save, me. All raising my hand did was bring me closer to drowning. I was spent.

Praise God, a few body board surfers came within shouting distance, and I yelled, I am not going to make it. The body board one of them lent me is why I can share this story today. -Alan Fahrner

The newest offering from productivity guru Michael Hyatt is Free to Focus: A total productivity system to achieve more by doing less. Based on his popular (costly) Free to Focus course, this book distills 30+ years of experience and experimentation into a practical self-management intervention. Yes, it is a multi-component behavioral intervention, not merely a book. The components include the book, the links to worksheets (with examples), and the suggestion to acquire accessories such as a physical planner. It is very organized and logical, actionable, and practical. The book ads context to the principles designed into the Full Focus Planner (also by Michael Hyatt), yet remains agnostic with respect to what planner you use. In fact, it is a book-length explanation and guide to how using a physical planner can be incorporated into a personal productivity system.

Instead of summarizing the book (there will be hundreds of reviews because Michael Hyatt is a marketing guru in addition to his productivity expertise), I will provide some comments based on my experience with the Full Focus Planner and background as a research psychologist. -Joel

reading this helped me pass the A+ core windows 1 exam and security plus
Format: Paperback
Problem is that I am 63 years old having earned the certificate and the industry doesn't seem to welcome older workers . I used to help maintain a fleet of printers at two large companies. I have read about other more experienced tech workers in their 50s getting jobs now working in pharma working at sterilization technicians because IT seems to be puking jobs.
