The 5,000 BTU heater vents through the top of the unit to ensure safety when the unit is built in while the included remote control can be used to operate the flame and the heater independently. The fireplace is both thermostat and electrical hard-wire ready for easy installation while the latest LED light technology and a 3-color light strip allows multiple color flame presentations between yellow, orange and red. In addition, WiFi enabled Smart technology allows supreme flexibility, letting you control the fireplace from your smartphone. Each unit comes standard with the LED ember log set. That bin only has one clip to hold it in place. This makes it a little wobbly if you want to place it on the outside like I did. I used 2 trash bag twisties to help tighten it into place. Doing this made it no longer lose and the inside area space larger to hold both of my soaps. Fits everything I need it to. I appreciated the little lever on bottom that moves for water drainage. My sink design doesn’t work for the other drainage design I found these to have online.
