This model is based on the widely used Willis Jeep design by the US military during World War II. This 0.25 ton general-purpose truck has excellent off-road performance and was mass-produced from 1941 to 1945.

It was the main light wheeled transport vehicle for the US and Allied forces during World War II, with approximately 650000 units produced.
