There is no pole vent on the rear of the subwoofer which allows the motor structure to be placed directly against an enclosure boundary.

The JL Audio 10W1v3 is best used with an amplifier in the 75W - 300W RMS range and is optimized to operate in a compact 0.55 cu. ft. (15.57 l) sealed enclosure.
