All these years later and we still don't know why players won't stop screamin'. In any case, the Lucydreamer follows in a celebrated tradition of green, "screaming" overdrives with its own, unique, JAM-designed sonic character and built-up functions for playability. The Lucydreamer centers itself around an all-analog, proprietary chip design that clips in its own special way. Fired up from square one with special focus turned towards low-end and mids, the Lucydreamer is voiced to easily suit driven amps with character of their own while carrying its own scrumptious screamer tone to make it stand out.

The Lucydreamer is built up even more than your average "screaming" overdrive with functions for control and playability. For one, the pedal introduces a dedicated clean blend control that allows players to balance their affected overdriven signal and other gain stages in their signals. For another, the Lucydreamer features an additional footswitch that engages a high-gain channel to bump up the overall heat and distortion in the circuit. This high-gain channel does not affect the clean blend dry signal, making it all the more compatible and playable. True bypass footswitching and standard nine-volt center negative power operation make the Lucydreamer quick to work into existing rigs.
