It's built with all solid sapele for the top, back, and sides, which offers a rich, warm sound reminiscent of true mahogany. The guitar’s dark mahogany satin finish enhances its striking visual appeal, while its scalloped X-bracing optimally supports resonance and sustain.

The select hardwood neck is carved in Martin's comfortable PA profile, leading to a 20-fret fingerboard with 14 frets clear of the body. The fingerboard, also made from select hardwood, features stylish Style 28 dot inlays for an understated yet classic appearance.
