1960年代のSPHINXのフクロウモチーフのミニブローチ。木にとまったフクロウがゴールドトーンメタルで美しく表現されており、瞳にはレッド、額にはターコイズのカボションルーサイトがセットされています。

どこか表情を感じる愛らしい顔とルーサイトの艶めきが素敵。美しくもチャーミングな一品で、コーディネートのアクセントになってくれます。お好きなところに着けていただける、小ぶりなサイズ感も魅力。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
