'Lecinquevigne' is een krachtige, maar elegante top Barolo van het prestigieuze huis Damilano. In het glas onthult hij intense aroma's van zoete rode kersen, verfijnd leer, tabak en kruiden. In de mond komen tonen van zoete tabak, ceder, gekonfijt fruit en bloemen naar voren, met een ronde, zijdezachte afdronk. De wijn is zeer krachtig en bezit een indrukwekkende structuur, dankzij de stevige, maar perfect rijpe tannines die zorgen voor een lang bewaarpotentieel.

Deze veelzijdige Barolo is een uitstekende partner bij diverse gerechten. Denk aan rood vlees zoals rundvlees en lamsvlees, maar ook bij wild- en stoofgerechten. De wijn combineert ook goed met pasta's met rijke sauzen. Als afsluiter is hij fantastisch bij een kaasplateau met stevige, gerijpte kazen.
