Vroeger plantten wijnbouwers, vlak voordat een wijngaard aangeplant werd, diverse groenten om de bodem een betere vruchtbaarheid te geven. In dit gebied werd een groente die plaatselijk La Rica heette geplant; de hele zone stond in het dorp bekend als Finca de la Rica.

Je vindt Finca de la Rica in Labastida, in het zuiden van de regio Álava en op slechts 4 km van Haro (Rioja). Het is gelegen op het perceel van ‘El Convento’, in het hart van de Rioja. Vroeger plantten wijnbouwers, vlak voordat een wijngaard aangeplant werd, diverse groenten om de bodem een betere vruchtbaarheid te geven. In dit gebied werd een groente die plaatselijk “La Rica” heette geplant; de hele zone stond in het dorp bekend als Finca de la Rica.

Rioja Alavesa, en in het bijzonder Labastida, wordt beschouwd als de ‘Grand Cru’ van Rioja. De typische bodems van kalkhoudende klei en het unieke klimaat bieden de ideale omstandigheden voor het rijpen van het belangrijkste druivenras: tempranillo.
De Sierra Cantabria in het noorden houdt regen, mist en overmatige vochtigheid vanuit het Baskenland tegen, en de Ebro-rivier in het zuiden zorgt voor relatieve koelte in de warmste jaren.

Finca de la Rica bezit wijngaarden in 41 verschillende percelen van Rioja Alavesa. De gemiddelde leeftijd van de wijngaarden is tussen de 45 en 65 jaar. El Nómada Rioja komt van de 4 top-percelen Andaverde, Henares, Larrazuri en Matadula. Alle percelen worden door Javier en Arturo handmatig bewerkt en geoogst. Bij aankomst in de bodega is er een strenge selectie van de druiven, waarna - zonder te persen - van de meest gezonde en rijpe druiven uitsluitend het eerste sap gebruikt wordt. El Nómada rijpt na de vergisting 14 maanden op nieuwe Franse vaten.

De wijn wordt gemaakt van 95% tempranillo en 5% graciano. Graciano geeft een extra impuls en meer kleur aan de wijn. Deze druif geeft zo weinig opbrengst dat uitsluitend de beste Bodega's uit Rioja er nog mee werken.

soft finish for upper lip and chin area
I pay close attention to fine facial hair, especially around my upper lip and chin area. Under strong lighting, those small hairs can appear more visible, so I have been looking for a gentle way to care for this area without anything harsh or overly complicated. At night, after cleansing my face and completing my basic skincare, I apply this oil as the final step. It feels like a light finishing layer over the skin. I use a very small amount, about one or two drops, warm it between my fingertips, then gently press it onto the upper lip and chin area. There is no stinging sensation, and the scent is very mild, which makes the application feel calm and comfortable. The texture feels lighter than expected. It spreads smoothly and settles quickly without leaving a heavy or greasy film. My skin type leans slightly combination, and in my case it sits well without making the T zone feel overly coated.
