De Cabernet Franc Ciceron Vignes Rares is een rode wijn en wordt, uiteraard, gemaakt van de Cabernet Franc druif. Een druif die in Frankrijk vooral in bepaalde Loire streken en in Bordeaux-gebied wordt verbouwd. Wijnen van 100% Cabernet Franc kunnen best een beetje ‘streng en hard’ zijn in de smaak en niet zo toegankelijk. Zo niet deze wijn! Integendeel! De in deze zuidelijke streek in de Corbières verbouwde druiven laat Claude Vialade met de hand plukken, gisten en voor een deel 9 maanden op eiken vaten rijpen. Resultaat is een volle wijn met diep zwart fruit, laurier, kruidnageltje en pepertje, zoethoutje en griotje en een mini appeltje in de afdronk. Doet het heerlijk bij gerookt of gegrild vlees, bij gekonfijte tomaten, bij dingen met paddenstoelen en bij zachte kazen. Op 17 graden schenken. Great lotion for very dry skin

I had a laser done on my face and the products they gave me weren't working. This came highly recommended so I gave it a try. I'm very glad I did! It moisturized my face really well without appearing greasy.

returned- for now

I was using the lotion version of this for about a year, then went to the balm for more hydration. However, it seems to be breaking me out. I think because it's spring, im not needing as much occlusion as i did during winter. I'm gonna go back to the lotion formula, then pick this up again next winter.
It is a little hard to spread, but I spray the avene mineral water on, let it dry slightly, and press the balm into my skin when its still wet. That helps thin the balm just enough to rub in. Otherwise, it can actually feel kind of rough!
