De Kleine Schorre Rivaner is een frisse en aromatische witte wijn uit Nederland, afkomstig van wijngaarden op het Zeeuwse eiland Schouwen-Duiveland. Deze wijn wordt volledig gemaakt van Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau)-druiven die groeien op kalk- en schelpengrond, wat bijdraagt aan het kenmerkende frisse karakter en de mineraliteit. De druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst en vergisten in roestvrijstalen tanks om de pure fruittonen en frisse zuren te behouden.

In het glas opent de De Kleine Schorre Rivaner met frisse aroma’s van citrus, groene appel en zachte bloemen. De smaak is levendig en fruitig met een prettige zuurgraad en een lichte mineraliteit die doet denken aan het zilte karakter van de Zeeuwse kust. De wijn voelt soepel en evenwichtig aan, met een frisse, fruitige afdronk. Serveer gekoeld rond 8–10 °C, ideaal bij lichte gerechten zoals gegrilde vis, salades of frisse antipasti.

Wijnhuis De Kleine Schorre 
Wijngaard De Kleine Schorre ligt in Dreischor op Schouwen-Duiveland en is een van de bekendste wijnhuizen van Nederland. Sinds 2001 worden hier op 10 hectare klei- en zavelgrond wijnen geproduceerd die typerend zijn voor het Zeeuwse zeeklimaat. Wijnmaker Johan van de Velde leerde het vak in Luxemburg en bracht die kennis mee naar Zeeland. Jaarlijks produceert het wijnhuis zo’n 60.000 flessen. Een bijzonder feit: De Kleine Schorre levert al meer dan 15 jaar wijn voor KLM’s World Business Class.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
