Sartori Valpolicella DOC Classico

De Sartori Valpolicella Classico is een toegankelijke rode wijn uit Italië. Hij komt uit de regio Veneto, ten noorden van Verona, en is een blend van Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella en Croatina druiven. De druiven worden zacht geperst, enkele weken gefermenteerd en rijpen daarna 6–8 maanden in grote eikenhouten vaten en roestvrijstalen tanks, wat zorgt voor een evenwichtige smaak.

Deze wijn verrast met een ronde, zachte smaak en aroma’s van rood fruit zoals kersen, besjes en soms een hint van bitteramandel. In de mond voelt hij soepel en vol, met een lichte kruidigheid en milde tannine. Combineert prachtig met pasta’s, soepen, risotto, gegrild vlees of medium‑gerijpte kazen. Serveer op een temperatuur van 16–18 °C voor optimaal genot.

Wijnhuis Sartori di Verona
Sartori di Verona is een familiebedrijf sinds 1898 met diepe wortels in de Verona-regio. Hun wijngaarden liggen op kalkrijke hellingen, wat bijdraagt aan de frisse mineraliteit van de wijnen. In 1898 kocht Pietro Sartori het prachtige Villa Maria, toen een hotel-restaurant, in Negrar (Valpolicella) om er zijn wijnproductie te starten.
