Onjuiste gebruik zal de effectiviteit verminderen, wat kan leiden tot gehoorverlies of letsel. Verwijder oordopje langzaam draaiende beweging uit het oor om breken te voorkomen. Snelle verwijdering kan trommelvlies beschadigen. Buiten bereik van baby"s en kleine kinderen. Deze oordopjes zijn niet giftig, maar kunnen de ademhaling belemmeren en vast blijven zitten in de luchtpijp, dit kan leiden tot ernstig letsel.
