This handcrafted Chimpanzee Birdhouse will give your feathered friends a unique shelter, while adding a touch of the great outdoors to your own backyard!
Designed and built by skilled Amish craftsmen, using Mushroom Wood for a rugged and rustic appearance. “Mushroom wood” is the name given to a specific type of reclaimed wood, sourced from mushroom processing facilities. The boards are used in short term service for curing mushrooms. In that process, the fungi slowly removed the early wood fibers, leaving a hyper-textured and earthy brown patina – as striking and graphic a wood surface as you’d find. We recommend applying a water-repellent stain to keep the wood's natural beauty!
Ready to easily hang with included rope. Can also be wall mounted.
