Rich and ripe with a saving, savoury periphery: sour plums, roasted beetroot, compote dark berries. The berried lushness of the first sip is soon balanced effortlessly before more linear and granular, dry and minerally textures and flavours take over. Grenache here is on a more mature and adult display, although the cheeky fruitiness and vibrant berries that are so lovingly typical of this red variety are still present, perhaps seen rather than heard.
