Seasons of Sorrow: The Pain of Loss and the Comfort of GodOn November 3, 2020, Tim and Aileen Challies received the shocking news that their son Nick had died. On November 3, 2020, Tim and Aileen Challies received the shocking news that their son Nick had died. A twenty-year-old student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, he had been participating in a school activity with his fiancée, sister, and friends, when he fell unconscious and collapsed to the ground. Neither students nor a passing doctor nor paramedics were able to revive him. His parents received the news at their home in Toronto and immediately departed for Louisville to be together as a family. While on the plane, Tim, an author and blogger, began to process his loss through writing. In Seasons of Sorrow, Tim shares real-time reflections from the first year of grief—through the seasons from fall to summer—introducing readers to what he describes as the “ministry of sorrow.” Seasons of Sorrow will benefit both those that are working through sorrow or those comforting others:
• See how God is sovereign over loss and that he is good in loss
• Discover how you can pass through times of grief while keeping your faith
• Learn how biblical doctrine can work itself out even in life’s most difficult situations
• Understand how it is possible to love God more after loss than you loved him before

______________

This book is brilliant, not because of Tim Challies's eloquence, but because of his tears! The buoyancy of faith that shines from every page often left me teary-eyed, thanking God for his grace to his people during their darkest times. What priceless grace!' -- Conrad Mbewe, pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church and founding chancellor of the African Christian University

It’s ok
Size: XX-Large Tall, Color: Carbon Heather
The collar area felt kind of tight for him. The shirt is nice and long, but not thick.

Carbon Carhartt
Size: XX-Large, Color: Carbon Heather
Classic Carhartt quality. Reasonably thick t shirt with a bit of stretch, but still sturdy and rugged. I put this on as soon as it arrived. I have nothing but a plethora of carhartt t's for the spring and summer. Added this color, Carbon Heather, to my collection. It looks plain cool. Almost like carbon fiber.

Perfect for casual or weekend wear whether working at home or relaxing
Size: XX-Large Tall, Color: Dusty Olive
Comfortable material. Durable, I ordered size 2xl tall and love that it’s a casual shirt that is long and even if I lift my arms up my belly isn’t exposed. Neckline isn’t too tight I usually prefer a v neck but this shirt is so big the neck doesn’t feel tight or constricting. Great value for its price. I will be wearing this at home and on the weekends for sure.

Classic look, great feel and great price.
Color: Black, Size: X-Large
Super comfy and casual, but classy enough that it can be worn out. I find this shirt extremely comfortable, it is a classic look and is very flattering. I wear a size 14 and the XL is loose but not baggy. It washes well, does not wrinkle if I get it out of the dryer and folded in appropriate time, and the material is a good weight for the cost of the shirt. I would likely buy again as this is a great summer staple.
