Description: The MS1-HDG4 kit features ACT's renowned Heavy Duty pressure plate, designed for high-performance racing applications. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates employ an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load, minimize deflection, and extend clutch lifespan. Each diaphragm undergoes a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process to ensure exceptional durability. Precision cover stampings maintain rigidity and consistency in ACT pressure plates. The 4-pad spring-centered race disc is engineered with a spring-center to effectively damp torsional vibrations, ensuring quieter operation and resilience under demanding conditions. ACT spring retainers feature wraparound spring windows and thicker stampings to bolster spring support, diminish stress concentrations, and enhance strength and reliability. Expect harsher engagement but quicker shifting with the 4-pad spring-centered race disc, making it ideal for smaller engines with smaller disc sizes.
