CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Machine Wash: Wash the covers in cold water on a gentle cycle separately to maintain softness and protect the fabric.
  • Dry Clean: Air drying is recommended to keep the cover fresh and prevent wear over time.
  • Tumble Dry: Use a gentle cycle with low heat.
  • Do Not Bleach: Avoid bleach, ironing, and fabric softeners, as they can reduce softness and damage the cover’s material.

Please note: Since each product is custom-made, there might be around a 20% variation in color, pattern, binding, and stitches compared to the sample photos. The dimesion of this may slight variance of 1-3 inches due to fabric stretching. However, we ensure the main design remains as shown. The valance package does not include the valance rod.

The history offers a detailed and well organized account of the Royal Navy as it transitioned from sail to steam. Coverage included personalities, technology, tactics and strategy. The combination provided a complete appreciation of the dynamics at play, some unexpectedly. The details might be a bit much for a casual reader but offered plenty of avenues for research not available or compiled in one source. I look forward to the final volume, which should describe another watershed era.

It is still excellent and authoritative, just different than I expected. I really appreciate a somewhat different perspective than I have found in some other books. For example, any discussion of Jackie Fisher I have read previously seemed to border on the hagiographic, whereas here he seems to get a very evenhanded appraisal. A great book, highly recommended.
