With the addition of Chris MacLean on bass, the band worked with renowned Melbourne producer Matthew Hosking to record their first full LP. Layering rich tones, beautiful textures, cascading melodies and angelic vocals, Miniatures build soundscapes that rise and fall like the ocean tide. Lush guitars wash over you until the wave of sound sweeps you out to sea. While swirling in a reverb riptide and drowning in delay, Annemarie's vocals shine like a beaming light from above. Sure, you'll pick up influences here and there: The Sundays, Lush, Cocteau Twins, Smashing Pumpkins, even a hint of Johnny Marr's guitar adventurism. But Jessamines is more than a sum of it's influences. Miniatures have been working at careful songcraft for five years, and this is their coming out party. Expensive, but a well-made slim front pocket wallet

This is a review for the Fossil “Steven” Front Pocket Bifold Wallet. This wallet measures 4.5 inches x 3.0 inches. It is made with soft-touch leather all around (which feels fantastic), and the build quality is top-notch. It is definitely smaller than a typical wallet, but is still able to hold a good number of cards. I could easily fit about 12 cards into this wallet while still being relatively slim and compact. The wallet is discreet with only a “Fossil” logo that is embossed on the inside. The fabric lining of the cash compartment is treated with an anti-microbial coating. There’s more information about this coating on the manufacturer’s website, but it seems this is to protect against viruses and germs that maybe on cash notes. And while other wallets feature RFID Blocking, this wallet does not claim to do so. This wallet is definitely pricey. And you can easily find other slim wallets for much less. But, I suppose I’m paying for the brand name - and I do like Fossil products. So if you want a brand name wallet that is well-made and slim - this is a good option to consider.

Slim but capable

I've had my old wallet for over two decades, it's warren and the edges are starting to fall apart and I thought I'd be proactive and get a new one before it was completely useless.
With all the new slim minimalist designs I was intregeed. This is what I found out, at least for my needs. These new elastic card clips, are nice size wise, are not what the are advertised to be. They are small in your pocket but you need another place for the items you don't use everyday. So as far as being slim and efficient they are misleading. Unless you plan ahead you won't have what you need, say health insurance cards oops forgot them cause I don't use them everyday. Ones with cash clips or elastic bands aren't what they are cracked up to be either. To pull out a bill you need to take all the bills out unfold then and then refold the and squeeze the back in the clip, not covenant.
Next I tried a bi-fold card holder with a money clip. This solved the having everything I needed even if I didn't use it everyday but still had the cash usability issue which required less folding but still needed to pull all the bills out to use. Plus it wasn't any dinner or smaller then my old wallet.
Then I found this wallet, it was pretty much the same as my old one minus one card slot due to the visible ID slot. So in the end this was the perfect wallet for me. Not sure what my old wallet was as the leather is very well worn but I'm guessing it is the same brand.
One other thing this wallet is not scan protected which the other slim wallets were. But you can buy cheap sleeves to place on either side to protect against this if your concerned. One benefit of not having this feature is the ability to keep your key card in your wallet and have it work. Again slim but needing multiple place for your items is not efficient, was not a fan of the carabineer I had to also carry while using the slim wallets.
