A large, clear sight window is used for a hassle-free filter inspection and an aggressive style. Carbon Fiber Trim On Housing: This Momentum GT intake system offers carbon fiber trim on housing to give that motorsport appearance. This cover overlay is constructed of lightweight high gloss, clear-coated 2 x 2 twill-weave carbon fiber. High Quality Tube: This system uses a high quality plastic CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Large 3-Layer Performance Air Filter: The Momentum GT intake is designed around an oil-free, large 8-3/4" oval 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 3-layers of progressive finer porosity synthetic media providing maximum convenience. The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. Custom High Temp. Silicone Coupling: A custom high temperature reinforced silicone elbow coupling is included for easy install to the factory breather line. Premium Hardware Premium stainless steel clamps are used for strength and durability while also pro viding the most secure installation available. OEM is always the answer
No reason not to go OEM for this! Came with every possible gasket and seal I could need. Specifically for my Alpha One Gen 1 it took maybe 25-30 min to completely install.
While you’re there check the base plate for wear and the other surrounding items like your water tube. Rather keep the lower unit off for an extra day to get another part than a catastrophic failure.
