Spyderco Assist Lightweight Folding Knife
We named this knife after its principal job function, to assist. The Spyderco Assist Black Blade is a lightweight folder for emergency fire/rescue professionals and well-equipped citizens who rely on knives to be straightforward in use and perform flawlessly. The blade is coated in non-reflective black carbon nitride with a patented lift-and-pry (blunt-nosed) shape made from high-carbon VG-10 stainless steel and loaded with teeth. Most of its 3-3/8 (86mm) cutting edge is serrated with the last inch at the tip left PlainEdged.
- Retractable and replaceable carbide-tip glass/ice breaker is housed inside the handle and is exposed when the closed blade is squeezed into the handle, retracting when pressure is released
- Reinforced wire pocket clip attaches through the handle on either side for left or right-hand use
- The handle is black lightweight fiberglass reinforced nylon with a survival whistle built into the butt end, shrill and high pitched enough to get you noticed

Mostly works, but..........
I use these at night for sleeping with a CPAP. I am a mouth breather, so my CPAP mask is a full face mask, thus there is constant airflow going into my mouth all night long. While these tablets do help with reducing dry mouth, they only last about 4-5 hrs before they fully dissolve - which does not get me through a full night of sleep. Using two tablets instead of one only gives me roughly one additional hour. If you wear a CPAP mask, you also need to be careful of exactly where you place the tablets, because it will be quite uncomfortable if you mask ends up pressing on the tablet. If the tablet does not adhere well upon initial placement, you pretty much need to fully dry the tablet before re-attempting placement. If the brown side is already wet when you place it against your gums, there is a much higher chance of it just sliding off, instead of sticking. Overall, while not completely eliminating the issue, they do at least reduce the dry mouth problem during sleep.

Stays put and dissolves slowly. Orange flavor is nice.
If you have to use something overnight for dry mouth definitely get these. I use one nightly with my mouth guard. The orange flavor is very nice and it dissolves slowly overnight. It's small enough to do the trick, but not be overpowering. It stays put. And it works. Definitely notice the improvement inside my mouth.
