Serial Number: 1356

The MachineWise Mojave is a premium serialized folding knife built by a five-person team in Phoenix, Arizona. Every Mojave is CNC machined in-house, individually Rockwell tested, and ships with a QC card documenting the measured blade hardness and a certificate of authenticity confirming steel composition. This is serial number 1356.

The blade is a 3.45" Wharncliffe in CPM S90V, ground thin at 0.011 to 0.015" behind the belly for a slicing geometry that earns its place in everyday carry. S90V delivers exceptional edge retention through high vanadium content, holding an edge longer than most premium stainless steels used in production folders. This specific blade measured 62.1 HRC on its individual Rockwell test. The handle is Grade 5 titanium with a navy blue anodized finish and the Grenade pattern, a fine crosshatch texture machined directly into the titanium for grip and visual character. Skiff ceramic ball bearings at the pivot for smooth, consistent flipper deployment. Titanium frame lock. Deep carry tip-up clip. T15 hardware throughout. Unconditional lifetime warranty. Made in Phoenix, Arizona.

Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: Serial 1356 in Navy Blue titanium with Grenade pattern is the most refined-looking of the blue Mojaves. The deep navy against the fine Grenade crosshatch reads as considered and intentional. S90V at 62.1 HRC, the highest in this group, Skiff bearings, Phoenix made.

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-

Coolant hose
Very difficult to get plastic part with o ring installed to slide into opening. It needs to extremely clean and add lubricant. I had to use a lot of force where I was worried about breaking plastic end. It’s been working perfect.
