The 400TBL-15-3 3x Stereo Microscope from National Optical is a single magnification stereoscopic microscope suited for users of all ages. The stereo (dual) eyepiece design displays greater image depth than monoculars and provides more comfortable viewing over long periods of observation. The 400TBL-15-3 features 45x magnification, and overhead and substage tungsten illumination. A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the 400 series a welcome addition to labs as well as classrooms. This microscope has a single focusing dial and an adjustable post for raising the viewing head to accommodate specimens up 60mm / 2.3" in height. The focus system also includes slip clutch and rack stop mechanisms that prevent mishandling and help make this optical instrument novice-proof.
