Our Chandon Vintage Blanc de Blancs 2018 is an ode to Chardonnay from our esteemed vineyards in the Strathbogie Ranges and Whitlands Plateau. The warm 2018 season has sculpted a wine of texture and minerality, celebrating the high-altitude terroir— impeccably balanced and elegantly structured. The crisp acidity and lively fruit profile make it an ideal accompaniment for the fresh, zesty flavours of kingfish ceviche or the rich, creamy textures of crab risoni. Layers of white peach, cumquat and lemon curd are underscored by sophisticated short crust pastry notes. Background nuances of walnut are complemented by toast and praline—aromatics that will continue to evolve in complexity. With an aging potential of 5 – 10 years, you can expect it will mature beautifully over time.
