Die HJS Downpipe 90822040 ist für BMW M-Modelle mit dem S55-Motor und Ottopartikelfilter (OPF) entwickelt. Sie ist ECE-zertifiziert und damit im jeweiligen ECE-Geltungsbereich eintragungsfrei verwendbar. Das Bauteil passt ausschließlich zu Fahrzeugen, die ab Juli 2018 produziert wurden und serienmäßig über einen OPF verfügen. Beim M2 ist die Downpipe ausschließlich für die Varianten M2 Competition und M2 CS geeignet. Bei der M4-Baureihe umfasst die Freigabe sowohl den M4 als auch den M4 Competition.
