Das siebte Album der Band von Samuel T. Herring (Gesang, Lyrics), William Cashion (Bass, Gitarre), Gerrit Welmers (Keyboards, Programmierung) und Michael Lowry (Schlagzeug) folgt auf das 2020 erschienene "As Long As You Are". Es läutet ein neues Kapitel der Band ein, die sie sich vor fast zwei Jahrzehnten gegründet hat. Wo die Band aus Baltimore in der Vergangenheit nach immer energiegeladeneren Hymnen suchten, haben sie sich dieses Mal nach Innen gekehrt und so ihre vielleicht herzzerreißendsten Tracks geschrieben. Future Islands lassen jeden Atemzug, jede Silbe, jeden Beckenschlag auf den Hörer wirken. Die Vergänglichkeit des Lebens Tour wurde der Band in der Zeit des Stillstands, den die Pandemie mit sich brachte, bewusst, denn die Arbeit und der damit verbundene Lebensstil lassen einen in unregelmäßigen Abständen in das Leben der Menschen eintreten und wieder austreten. Das alles spiegelt sich im Titel des Albums wider, der als Zeichen für Trauer, verlorene Freundschaften und verschwundene Liebe gelesen werden kann. "People Who Aren"t There Anymore" ist auch der Titel eines Gemäldes des in Albuquerque, New Mexico, ansässigen Künstlers und Future Islands-Fans Beedallo; ein weiteres seiner Werke wurde von der Band als Artwork für das neue Album verwendet.

I think it sort of helps balance out skin tone and a bit of texture, but overall it doesn’t provide any coverage. -It’s on the smaller side. For 18 bucks, It’d be nice to get a larger tube. But I think it’s worth it because the formula is very nice for a drugstore brand. Overall, very good sunscreen especially for drugstore.
